Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment at their Napa, CA location. This is a high-demand emergency department setting requiring proficiency in Siemens equipment and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans on emergency and trauma patients, including multiple-scan trauma protocols, stroke evaluations, and extremity exams.
Operate Siemens CT systems independently with minimal supervision.
Work collaboratively with ED and radiology team members.
Float to like units as needed.
Adhere to all hospital policies, including patient safety and documentation standards.
Key Requirements:
Must be flexible with shift start times and available for weekend shifts as needed.
Must be able to handle a high volume of 30 50 daily scans.
Expected to work with stroke protocols and trauma patients.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care or ED setting.
License/Certifications:
ARRT (CT) Certification Required
California Radiologic Technologist License Required
BLS (AHA) Required
Must have active license at submission; no pending licenses accepted
Skills:
Proficient in Siemens CT systems
Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Epic charting system
Comfortable with emergency protocols and high patient throughput
