Your Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Student - Software Engineer  for John Deere located in Champaign, IL , you will...

• Collaborate with senior level developers to create internal and customer-facing solutions using low-code and hybrid-code platforms.
• Develop dashboards for internal and external stakeholders to help make better data-driven decisions with regards to governance and maintenance of enterprise level tools.
• Leverage low-code, hybrid-code, and pro-code platforms to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business and technical needs.

This position is available to students on immigration visas. 

What Skills You Need

• Pursuing a degree in a Computer Science or related discipline.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A self-starter with good time management and communication skills
• A strong desire to learn new concepts
• Ability to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
• Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester

• Experience in the following areas:
• Low-code tools such as the Microsoft Power Platform
• Leveraging APIs that require modern authentication such as OAuth
• Microsoft Graph API consumption
• Workflow design
• Experience working through a backlog using Agile
